This post covers the first part of Kenny's 4th visit to Japan from July 30th to August 8th 2009.

Between this and the last tour:

May 22nd - Kenny Omega and Chuck Taylor teamed together as the Men of Low Moral Fiber at PWG DDT4 2009. Meanwhile on the same date Ibushi had a birthday party at Dropkick in which he got pretty drunk. Momo attended.

May 30th-June 14th - Ibushi competed in his first Best of the Super Junior tournament, losing to Prince Devitt in the semi-final.

July ? - Kenny and Mike Angels made a follow up to the anywhere match that Kenny had sent to DDT the year before.

July 12th-July 25th - Ibushi competed in Pro-wrestling NOAH's Junior Heavyweight Tag League, his partner was Atsushi Aoki.

July 31st - Team Vader Vader Time 3 ~ Big Van Summer ~

Kenny and Ibushi vs Michael Nakazawa and Madoka

Michael:(extending his hand)"Kenny, we've been hanging out for a long time but it's my first time having a match with you, I am glad."

Kenny: "Me, too."

(Michael knees him in the gut)

August 2nd - Before the beginning of the beer garden

Nakazawa: Today I was hanging around with Kenny in Kagurazaka. I charged Kenny 's cell phone credit at SoftBank Shop, went to play with a cat in Mugimaru cafe, and went to Sanpo to eat BBQ. It seemed that he liked Mugimaru quite a bit. In Sanpo, last time I paid, and this time Kenny paid for me. Lucky! (Lol)

... Oh, by the way, the day before yesterday I had a match with Kenny & Ibushi for the first time at Team Vader time show. My partner was Madoka. It was a sudden decision to participate because of the injury of Rikiya Fudō.

I intended to get fired up for my first bout with Kenny. I think that Madoka's assist was also very good at the end, but I ended up sinking into the coalition pile driver of Ibushi & Kenny. Well I also want to do with them.

Ibushi was at the second Vader Time show that evening. He tagged with Tarzan Goto against Madoka and Mitsuya Nagai.

August 3rd - Beer Garden Night 1 ~ Ishii and Abe

Because Abe is producing and he's a huge nerd, the second match on the card is a Cosplay Rumble! Abe wins but then Kota comes out in a wedding dress and gives him a German suplex.

Ibushi: (takes piece of paper out of his dress) "The strongest Pro-wrestling cosplayer is me.
I will do my best."

Kenny is in the main event, teaming with HARASHIMA against both producers, Abe Yushi & Ishii Keisuke.

HARASHIMA pins Abe for the win. HARASHIMA and Kenny praise Abe and Ishii on their producing and the evening ends happily.

August 4th - Beer Garden Night 2

Neither Kenny or Ibushi appeared on this show, but someone else did: Mike Angels, Kenny's opponent from the anywhere match.

Takagi: "Before the start of the second part,...a mysterious Gaijin came in and began to rage saying "Where is Kenny?"

He beats up some guys and then crushes an apple.

Takagi also shares a letter from Angels received by the DDT office on his blog:

"I came to Japan after Kenny. He and I are 50-50 rivals in Canada, but Kenny fleeing from Canada to Japan is totally jealous!(?) I will show Japanese fans that I can crush Kenny in Japan and I'm stronger! "

August 5th - Beer Garden Night 3 ~ Dino Produce day

Kenny isn't on this show but it's... interesting.

One of the matches is a 4-way lumberjack match except the lumberjacks are dominatrixes who punish any wrestler who steps outside the ring.

An additional stipulation is that if the match is not decided in 15 minutes, Michael Nakazawa will be 'anal bombed.'

Kenny's absence is very frustrating for Mike Angels. He bullies the ring announcer and Ihashi again and then storms off.

The next match is a 15 minute iron man match after which Michael Nakazawa gets anal bombed for a second time.

Finally it's the main event, Dino & Muscle Sakai vs Kota Ibushi & Michael Nakazawa.

The rules of this match are as follows:

・ A wrestler who is waiting to be tagged in has to stand by the dominatrix at the apron.
・ If a wrestler cannot beat their opponent, e.g. there is a kick out, or rope break, the waiting partner will be punished by a dominatrix each time.
・ The winner of this match is given the right to blow up the anus of any person in the hall, including the audience.
・If the game isn't over in 15 minutes, Michael Nakazawa will get an anal bomb and then the match will continue.

15 minutes passes and Michael takes his 3rd anal bomb of the night but then Ibushi gets hold of a firework and performs a 'phoenix explosion', pinning Dino and winning the match.

So of course, that means Ibushi now gets to choose whose ass will be blown up.

Dino apologizes to Ibushi and Michael and says it's only right that he take the anal bomb. Muscle Sakai interrupts and tells Ibushi to choose him instead because Dino needs to be fit to wrestle at the DDT show in Ryōgoku for the good of the promotion. Michael interrupts and volunteers to take it but Dino says his ass couldn't possibly withstand another blast.

Ibushi silently watches the discussion. This goes on for a while until even more people (including Takagi, the referee Matsui and the ring announcer) come from backstage and offer themselves up to be anal bombed in the spirit of locker room solidarity.

Ibushi's final decision:

"I understand your feelings very well. I will also sit there!"

Griffon591:"Anal explosion started one after another. Shocking noise and screams echoed, followed by a hell picture of screaming cries."..."in this way the Dino Produce Day ended safely without being safe at all."

August 5-6th

Neither Kenny or Ibushi are on the beer garden shows for the next two days. Meanwhile, Mike Angels shows up again. Michael recovers from his anal bombings, Ibushi visits a water park with some friends and Kenny goes to Midbreath gym.

August 7th - Beer Garden night 5 ~ Rock and roll death match

It's Kenny vs A.YAZAWA (Antonio Honda) in a rock and roll death match! When the music starts both wrestlers have to stop fighting and dance. There's lots of cool spots where they go from a wrestling move into a dance position and vice versa. E.g. Kenny catches a kick and then the music starts and he turns it into an air guitar.

Kenny wins and Mike Angels comes out to challenge him complete with his signature apple to squish.

Mike: "I waited a year. I came to DDT just to have a match with you."

The music starts playing again and they ALL dance because of course they do.

Griffon591: "The song stopped, Kenny and Mike went to the previous position with a serious expression as if nothing had happened."

Kenny: "Do you want to fight me? Well, tomorrow's main event is decided, Golden Lover vs Madoka & Mike Angels. Well then tomorrow, big boy."

Kenny's music plays but he asks them to put the rock and roll back on instead and he and A.YAZAWA dance out of the ring together.

August 8th - Beer Garden Night 6 ~ Kenny Omega Produce Night

Kenny (with Michael interpreting):"It seems like a long time ago, but actually I came to DDT only about a year ago in the beer garden. President Takagi gave me a chance at that time, today I want to give opportunities to various people. Everybody who participates today is aiming for one thing. That is to entertain everyone. We have some fun games that you may only be able to see once tonight. Please enjoy yourself. "

1st Match - Abe Yukihiro vs Gota Ihashi

In this match, the winners gets to second Ibushi in the main event, and the one who loses has to second Kenny. They fight using as many Ibushi moves as possible by the looks of it. Abe wins.

2nd Match - Jason Geiger vs Isamu Sugiuchi

This is an interesting one, I can't work out from the recaps if this was a worked wrestling match or a shoot Jiu-Jitsu match. I think it may have been the latter. Sugiuchi won 2-1. These two are Kenny's friends, with no other affiliation to DDT as far as I can see. They make another appearance in 2012 when they come and help Kenny out with his training before Budokan.

3rd match - Emi Sakura & Mr. 6 vs Dora Sportio & Riho

Riho is the 12 year old girl Kenny tagged with on the Ice Ribbon show back in May, just like in the previous match she is up against Emi Sakura (her trainer out of kayfabe). Emi Sakura's partner in the match is an even younger wrestler Mr. 6 who is in 2nd grade (7 or 8 years old in Japan).

4th match - Main Event: Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi vs Mike Angels & Madoka

Mike tries to use a chair on Kenny but Matsui stops him.

Kenny and Ibushi do the most perfectly timed cross slash ever.

The golden lovers use their double tombstone on Madoka and pin him, but Mike pulls Matsui out of the ring so he can't count it. Mike attacks Kenny but Matsui gets back in the ring, declares that it was a foul and the match is over.

Mike: "Wait! A foul? I came to DDT for reason, to fight Kenny Omega. You are the king of the street? You can do it anywhere? I hope you're a fan, let's have a rematch with Street Fight Rules!"

Kenny: "I'll do it!"

Ibushi: "I'll do it!"

Madoka: "I'll do it!"

So the match restarts, they fight on the entrance ramp, Mike uses the chair on Ibushi and eventually they all end up outside.

Ibushi and Kenny jump from the top of the vending machine and hit the golden shower on Mike Angels for the win.

Kenny: "First of all, I would like to thank Ibushi. Over a year ago, wrestling was not fun for me. I felt I was alone. Not as a wrestler but as a person. But finding Ibushi and finding DDT fans here has changed me. There are many people in the world, and there are many who can do it on the street. Ibushi is one, and myself as well, and we choose to wrestle for you guys. DDT has the best wrestlers, the best promotions and the best fans. Even ROH is just a job for me. But DDT is a family to me. This trip was a wonderful trip from the beginning. I'm really happy to meet people like you. I am also really happy to have a friend like Michael. I met those who had the same dream, I met more talented people and I found a loved one. (looks at Ibushi)

Not to say that today's show is over, but I would like to thank all who are here today. I am very happy to see everyone, and I have friends when I return to Canada. There are respected people like Sakura-san, and Riho, No. 6. Its wonderful. Some people like to take care of their fathers... I am grateful to Abe and Ihashi ... I'm not forgetting.

I enjoyed the game, but I didn't intend to do anything crazy like this. Let's do another crazy thing! I have another special guest. I think you know who ... I'm going to play that song from now."

It's Tanaka safety wrestling. Everyone cheers for "Safety first!"
Although saying that, Kenny didn't exactly leave the main event unscathed.

Matsui: Today was beer garden's sixth day, Kenny day. Although attendance did not reach Dino's day, crowds of customers gathered. Thank you for visiting us! Ibushi's second was decided to be Abe. [...] Kenny and Ibushi dropped the golden shower from the top of the vending machine and counted three on Mike. Backstage, Kenny and Mike have announced that they will get over their long-standing feud and join hands.[...]

Nakazawa:Today was Kenny’s producing day. There is no match for me today, but Kenny's interpretation and chores are everywhere. It is important to convey to the staff and players about the producer's policy.

Well, once the matches started, I was able to watch them well except when I was interpreting. In the first game, Abe-chan's rounding was good. The second game is a grappling match. I was breathlessly watching the game. Both of them are Kenny's friends, but Jason told me that he once wrestled with the same local group as Kenny. The third game, No. 6 and Riho are just awesome words. Especially No. 6 has only won this Nagoya this. (Laugh) Of course the two partners who supported them were wonderful.

And the main! The beginning was just normal, but the last part was crazy. Mike was a wrestler who was able to move quite well despite his large size. Of course, the power is amazing. It is a very bad attitude, but following Kenny to Japan isn't it mean that there will be a way to come? I feel embarrassed and I think that I should be an interpreter of a neutral position, and I feel irritated, and I have a rematch.

After the inspiring Kenny's microphone, the performances at the box office are 3, 2, 1 and safety first. What chaos. (Sweat)

After the game I talked about wrestling while eating BBQ with Ibushi-san. My body was tired but I was going to work hard tomorrow and I was encouraged by them.
